Frequently Asked Questions
Length of session: Sessions are 50 - 55 minutes in length.
Cancellation policy: Please notify me at least 24 hours ahead of cancelling an appointment.
It will allow another client to come for a session if needed.
Fees and payments:
Payment is preferred at the start of each session. Payment may be made by cash or cheque,
as I do not have a credit card option. Subsequent sessions can be set up at the end of the session.
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (#1516) and a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist (#83073),
my services may be funded through some Extended Health Plans, some Employee Assistance Programs,
and private billing. You will need to find out if your plan will cover counselling. If you specifically want my services, you will need to check with your employee assistance provider to see if they will consider my qualifications for their provider list.
I am a mental health service provider through Health Canada for First Nations and
Inuit Health Non-Insured Health Benefits, and the Indian Residential School Resolution Health
Support Program. I am a provider for the Inter Tribal Health Authority for mental health crisis counselling.
I am part of the WorkSafeBC Provider Network and Crime Victim Assistance.
The B.C. Medical Services Plan does not cover counselling through a Registered Clinical Counsellor or Registered Marriage and Family Therapist.
